Esprit de Ré is a story that began when Éric, a Frenchman, Willy, an Irishman and Harold, an American shared their affection for the life on the island of Ré.  The trio had all been seduced by the city (Paris, Madrid, London and New York) to pursue careers that spanned fashion, design, music, food, wine as well as technology. Anyone who has spent much of their life in the city discovers the need to reset the balance  ̶  fresh clean air and a simpler existence usually does the trick. All three found their equilibrium on Île de Ré along with their sense of smell that was awakened and reacquainted by the briny scent of the sea, mixed with the richness of scents that formulate the island’s natural properties.
