Team Player
Salomé Raulet is a member of the Ré Flying Oysters (RFO) Ultimate Frisbee Club, a mixed team sport, played without a referee which promotes fair play. It can be played on different surfaces: grass, sand and indoors. She has been French junior champion several times and has also won silver medals at the highest adult National level.
She is currently a member of the French senior women's team and will be participating in the European Nations Championship held in Ireland in July.
What is your idea of perfect happiness?
For me the perfect happiness is to have a happy, healthy life, with the people I love, to live beautiful moments, to have the possibility of seeing magnificent sunsets at the beach.
What is your greatest extravagance?
I think my biggest extravagance is when I dyed my hair red for my participation in the European Championship with the French Women's under 17 team in 2019.
What is your current state of mind?
My state of mind at the moment I would define it as a state of vacation, relaxation and inner peace.
When and where were you happiest?
I am very happy when I travel, rather by the sea or under the sun, in Martinique for example.
Where would you most like to live?
I would like to live in a place where there is the sea, a warm and friendly little place.
What is your most precious possession?
I think my most precious possession is a ring or a necklace that someone gave me, precious in the importance it has for me, from a sentimental point of view.
What do you value most in your friends?
I love when my friends make me laugh! I also like to spend simple moments with them that I will remember for a long time.
Who is your fictional hero?
My favorite fictional hero is Pocahontas.
Who are your heroes in real life?
My heroes in real life are top athletes like Serena Williams, Rafael Nadal and Flora Guei.
What is your motto?
My motto is to keep smiling, be happy as often as possible and be satisfied with the little things above all.
What is your favorite smell?
I think my favorite smell is anything that reminds me of the sea and nature in general.
What smell do you associate with your fondest childhood memory?
A smell that reminds me of my childhood is the smell of the forest near the sea. I loved climbing trees with my best friend after school.
Do you have a secret place on Ile de Ré? (Describe it but don't say where)
My secret place is a certain path that takes you through the forest for several hundred meters to the sea, and which for me is the most beautiful beach on the island.
